News Clipping
If you our your company appears on a local news broadcast, it is wise to obtain a clip of the footage. Useful if you want to record your achievements, use your media coverage as a promotional tool, or if you feel you had an unfair story done about you. If your company is often featured on the news, it may be in your best interest to obtain a monthly clipping contract which reduces the cost of each of the stories you are interseted in.
What you get
When you order a News Clip from Flame Productions/Internet you will receive a VHS or DVD containing the intro to the newscast the story was featured on, then the story of interest.
What does it cost?
The cost of a VHS copy of a single story is $40, a DVD is $65. If you desire additional clips on the same tape, they are an additional $25 per clip. Often we are asked why our prices are so high. The answer is, they arent. We are very competitive in the News Clipping market, and will gladly beat any of our competition's prices. In addition to our competitive price, we are reducing the normal video production price by more than 50%.
Without buying a clip, how can I know what stories are available?
For a nominal fee we can generate a report from the closed captioning from any local newscast. Simply let us know what keywords you are interested in and we will generate the report, and email it to you. If you desire to purchase a story, you can simply email us back or fill out our News Clip order form.
Can I receive a discount if I am on the news often?
You can receive a $30 for each of the clips you order if you are a monthly clipping client. For a yearly fee, we will monitor the news coverage you are interested in, and at the end of the month, compile a tape of the news you are interested in. If you are unwilling to order online you can do the following:
•Send a check for $40 (for a VHS) or $65 (for a DVD)
•Include a brief note with the channel, date, and time as well as any description of the story you desire. Please include your name and phone number, in case we have trouble with the search.
