Closed Captioning

Closed Captioning is mandated for any television broadcast over 5 minutes in length. Aside from the legality, it simply makes sense to provide this common accessability tool to ensure that ANY possible customer can acquire the information you deliver in your commerial or promotional video. In addition to delivering information to the hard of hearing, Closed Captioning enables viewers watching televisions in public places such as sports bars or waiting rooms to see your message.

We are currently the closed captioning provider for Tarpon Bay Tales, a fishing show broadcast on Sun Sports
(Thursday - 4:30pm, Friday - 4:30pm, Sunday - 5:30pm) and also on CSS (Wednesday - 10:00am & Saturday - 9:30am).

30 Second Commercials

For a limited time, we will be offering our Closed Captioning services for $89 for any 30 second commercial. All you need to do is provide the spot, a transcription of the commercial and a tape for final output. Within one week we will ship your completed tape. If you wish for us to transcribe your commercial, we will do so for an additional $10 dollars.

Price includes 1 recycled (max 3 uses), quality confirmed Betacam SP Tape.
You can purchase a blank Evaluated or New Betacam SP Tape at an additional charge.

Roll-on Closed Captioning

Roll-on Closed captioning provides one of the easiest reading Closed Captioning methods available. Each line is written, and is kept on-screen until the next 3 lines appear. The only drawback of Roll-on Closed Captioning is the inability to change positions of the captions on the screen (useful for multiple speakers on-screen).

Pop-on/Paint-on Closed Captioning

Pop-on closed captioning delivers the entire sentence in one closed captioning block which "pops" onto the screen. This method of Closed Captioning is beneficial when you have multiple people appearing on screen at once. Captions are able to be positioned ANYWHERE on screen. This enables us to easily identify what each person is saying, by simply placing the caption over/near that person.

Paint-on is similar to pop-on, except instead of "Popping" on the screen, the information is displayed one letter at a time over a specified time. This method helps regulate the pace of the closed captioning.
